If you go down in the woods today…..Pam Hog AW11

By all accounts we’ve been totally rubbish this fashion week. We only made it to two shows, one of them was PPQ and we arrived ten minutes too late to be let in. We also went to go to the party but couldn’t hack the cold so we legged it to Pizza East to get fat, the waiter recognised us from the last time when we complained about their rustic table wine(IKEA) glasses. If you’re going to drink table wine from them then cool but we weren’t drinking table wine.

Why have we been rubbish, well A) we’re working and B) we’re working. We’ve just been taken on by an Australian agent oh yeah C)Bitchy Kath’s been in Australia for the last two weeks which means we’re all just totally burnt out and can’t scrape a proper air kiss together between us. So we’ve been knocking out 4 sets of samples for each of our collections and shooting two lookbooks. Our TWO WEEKS label was exhibited with Bloody Gray in Sommerset house and samples are now being whisked off to Paris with Snow Sales(who also represent Pam Hogg).

We did ( I saw we as in I, Kath was having Sunday Lunch in the Cat) manage to get to Pam Hogg on Sunday evening which was gold. Pam Hogg is always gold. We bumped into lil Suzie Streety in the queue – she was wearing a really silly hat like one of the Musketeers with a big feather which kept sticking into my eye when I was talking to her. It looked good though so we’ll let her get away with it.

All star attendance, Toyah Wilcox(I think it was her but she might have had a bit of work done, it was a good job though), Alice Delall, Daisy Lowe, Boy George, Diane Pernet from A Shaded View of Fashion.

Also there was one of my favorite London Bloggers Girlalamode who’s kindly let me borrow some pics from her blog. I didn’t bring a camera – thanks lady, such beautiful pictures.

General theme was BDSM Woodland. Pam’s signature jumpsuits were realised in derranged wood prints, some blood coloured with jackets, head and shoulder pieces created from tufts of brightly coloured fox fur. Favorite looks were the bondage/leather/straight jackets pieces. Surprisingly wearable.

the patchwork fur was amazing, I’m not ususally one for colour but these were out of this world….

I love designers who aren’t afraid to introduce some humour such as the bird’s nest headdress

Also there was new friend and pop artist Pandemonia who had a little latex friend in tow. I hope it didn’t do any latex woopsie, I wonder if she has latex poo-bags…
