The use of human hair and animal bones does confront me but I like that… it’s good to be challenged by new concepts and the use of unusual materials. You make a good point referring to the hair keepsakes of Victorian times and the contradiction with hair weaves/extensions that are so prevalent today. The shoulder piece is so beautiful.

Everyone needs a hair piece (some much more than others). My only worry is that my jewellery would fast become more well kept than my own unruly mop.

I’m always getting comments on what I wear but I’ve always got an answer that leaves people without much to argue about. To be honest, people come round the human hair quite easily – the animal skulls are a bit more of a struggle.

I love your comparison to how people wear extensions of natural hair and never thinks twice about it, but freaks out by the though of it as jewellery. These pieces are truly beautiful so don’t ever reign! Stay true to yourself and keep making beauties like these.

What a catastrophe it would have been if you did reign things in- the range is amazing! It makes me want to cut my obnoxious main off ot make room for some of the pieces….
