Edgy 80’s Kink or Bonham Carter Bird’s Nest – you decide.

Yesterday we were talkin hair jewellery today let’s have a chat about Hair – always been one of my fave topics. I received my lovely daily mail from www.whowhatweardaily.com and to be honest it was almost like they’d read my comments on hair rage and other follicle induced disorders.

I spent years chemically straightening mine. One of my first buying trips to the far east saw me step off a 12 hour flight only to be whisked away to Toni and Guy for a Yukko treatment involving 6 hours of chemicals, straightening irons, some mild jet-lag and culture-shock induced halucinations.

Been wondering what to do with my tantrum throwing tresses since going cold turkey on my chemical straightening dependencies. Had it shaved last year after stepping off a 12 hour flight from LA(note to self, must leave hair alone after flying), toyed with the idea of corn-rows one side, curls other, still not convinced corn-rows on white scalp is for me – give me a few months on that one though.

But now I know Edgy 80’s Kink(not entirely convinced by anything called “edgy”), not so much a style as a lack of. Something my hair will do without too much coaxing, looks even better stinking of fags 8am. Ok so Pixie’s doing it but she’s got straight hair. My hair is just like this.
