Today sees the launch of my regular feature taking street style indoors, getting to know those who inspire the fashion industry a little better. Monday’s child is fair of face….and so sees the start of Queen Michelle Kingdom of Style’s diary…

Monday: Boo! Back to work. Decided to begin the week with a fashion faux pas – head to toe in one label. In this instance it’s Jean Pierre Braganza except the shoes, which are Carvela, and I dug out my old Balenciaga handbag. I was gifted these pieces from the label and they are very precious to me. Needed quite a masculine scent to compliment the look so I’m wearing Micheal Kors.

    this might seem like a weird question, but are you actually able to wear the braganza jacket closed? i think i tried on the leather version of the exact same piece in my usual size (S) and found it incredibly small… made me wonder if it was ever even meant to be worn zipped up.

    I have it too, and love it to death… but no, i can’t close it. I don’t think it’s meant to be closed.

    Yeah, I can close it fine. I think because it’s a linen type of fabric it stretches a little.
    I don’t think the leather version closes though.
