It’s my party and I’ll laugh if I want to.

Yes I’m 31 today and it’s been even better than my 30th. I have a different life to the one I had last year Last year I was living in a gorgeous 3 bed period flat in Brixton in a job I hated. This year I am living in a big warehouse with 5 other people and I feel inspired to the point that it’s like Im on speed all the time. Today I bought another pair of shoes after the Topshop Thigh High blue sueded boots from yesterday.

This evening Nick IDM has helped me sort out my studio as I’m learning how to improve my photography skills – I’ve never really done photography before. Nick just helped me out with that full-stop just there at the end of the scentence isn’t he massively creative and influential on what I’m doing – where would I be without his help. He is not looking over my shoulder as I write this at all.

The lovely Fashion Editor of PIG magazine in Italy have been in touch and are doing a feature on Bitching and Junkfood in Sept – good news, he travel fast. They asked me for a pic of me in my studio as well as the cover shoot. I haven’t got any pics of me in my studio so roped in the help of Nick to shoot me. So yeah, that’s me above in my studio. It’s a warehouse, it’s Hackney, it’s rails of clothing, it’s rough n ready and I love it. I was eating a chocolate hob-nob in this shot. They are my favorite biscuits and a birthday gift from dreadlock Tom – a boy living round the corner who is working on some T-shirts for my pop-up store in Hackney Wicked festival.

Oh yeah, about that, I’m having a pop-up store called Blood Sweat and Tears featuring several niche designers and artists. I found the perfect location in an old run-down toilet and now just need to do some persuading to get the space for free but I’m pulling out all the charm stops to make this happen. Anyone got any astro-turf. I want a grass carpet.
