AW13 builds on our cut n paste aesthetic with our prints referencing Jamaican Dancehall, Baroque architecture and Yen notes with crushed velvet and denim. Round 1 of the collection is live now so
If you’re in town for fashion week and checking out some art shows too hit this up. Our pals over at Adidas are supporting LGBT charity Stonewall and non-profit arts organisation Platform Six to create a showcase or art at Oxo Tower Wharf’s Bargehouse.
We hit up the PV and we promised you won’t be disappointed. The exhibition showcases the work of established Gay artists including Boy George, Carl Hopgood, DnA Factory, James Tailor and Layla Lyons. Also on show are Twenty pairs of Adidas x Platform Six Stan Smith trainers which have been customised and turned into pieces of art themselves by a whole host of iconic figures such as Kate Moss, Elton John and Kylie Minogue.
The Platform 6 exhibition runs until 14 September at the Bargehouse at the Oxo Tower Wharf, SE1 9HP. Entrance is free. Bidding on the one of a kind customised adidas trainers is open online now and will run until 14 September: www.p6auction.com
